I'm running a 127.5 main and I believe a 42.5 pilot with an fmf exhaust. Runs about as perfect as I've ever seen it. That plastic cover is most likely your culprit for sure.

Thanks! I'll have him lube the cable when he gets it back from the mechanic. The trails we ride are tight northeast single track. 2nd gear is the norm.

If it's stuck that bad I'd pull it and do a thorough cleaning. Also check for cracks in the float that would let it fill up with fuel and sink like... A float full of fuel :)

Looks like its been lowered a bit. Mine is lower if it makes you feel any better :) I bought mine used but the clamps were flush with the plastic cap when I got it.
