Too late lol. I just wrapped the ignition system sparker things in a towel and was outside when I did it. No problems luckily. Coulda been bad I bet. She's fixed though. Thanks for all y'all's help!

Can I crank the engine with all the oil drained? Won't that damage things?

And I've never removed the spark plugs, do I just pull the black covers off and then socket wrench the plugs out?

I'm going to take off the cover, clean it both sides, scuff it, JB weld it and then slap one of these on there. The hole is perfectly round and less than a cm in diameter. Shouldn't be too bad

I removed and reassembled everything. I think it is okay, it just feels different going from a bald tire to a TR8. For example when I drive on pavement the tire feels like it has its own path.
