Why bother

This is never a good deal, I'll do the playback for you. You want to drop 80 bucks on a tire that gets hopefully 6,000 miles. But you could buy a real good tire for 50%-100% more (I bought...

Yep

Thats a great belly pan for street use but I think off roading or even hard pack will do it in pretty quick. I bought a belly pan from amotostuff.com its fairly heavy duty but I still managed to bend...

Although, an old trick is to build two pit fires and bury the second one with a foot of soil then sleep on the top. Some of the truly woodsy types have confirmed this this method. I have a -20 bags...

Nothing breaks or wears out, even the tool kit should be considered excess weight.

Buy a good bag

and use a dense foam underpad, a wool cap, and thermal undershirt. I mean a good bag. Forget the heater too dangerous.

Can't be done

You simply can't stay ahead of all traffic on the expressways. Collector lane speed is at or slightly above the speed limit, the middle and fast lanes are used by folks moving well above the limt and...

Well

Here's my take on this, I have a 07 DL 650 and run 260 miles full to reserve on a bad day and 280 miles on a good day. I never stray far beyond reserve (20 miles or so) because of risk of fuel pump...

ROX risers on a DL650?

Just a few questions;

Anyone install these on a DL 650 yet?

Was the cable length an issue?

Install difficult?

Regrets?

The most common question

Having ridden both and I own the DL 650 I'd say for solo riding including long distance touring pick the DL 650. It will do just fine and return great fuel mileage. Once adding your wife and all the...

Nice

The Norton brings it back for me its the first street bike I rode (borrowed) but I have to ask. Are those BMW rims or your ride? They remind me of late 70's early 80's Yamaha rims.

I agree those numbers net about 70 miles/usg which seems pretty high, not impossible but very high. The DL650 has is 150cc smaller and won't net much more than 60 miles/usg
