When the issue of chain vs shaft raises it's ugly head , i find wine and cheese to be a good solution.

A litre or so of red, and i find the problem goes away.

I heartily recommend it..:D

Had a go on one a while back. Not bad for town work - but didn't like sustained high speed runs. 80mph kills the battery real quick.

Have no doubts. Took a change from the standard hoops to Michelin PR3's for me to fully gel with the bike, but i now love every ride out on it.

I had a Tenere for 18 months. After a test ride on the GS LC today, i'd have the big Yamaha back in a heartbeat.
I could not wait to hand the GS back. Mortally hated it....
