Yes that is the fuel pump and as far as replacing the hoses. Stick to fuel lines from the auto part store as they are stronger than vacume hoses.

Spray starter fluid in the carb and see if it will rev past 2-3 rpm. If it does then it will be fuel, carb or fuel pump issue.

If it wont rev past 2-3 rpm then it will be an electrical issue.

The FMF is alot lighter than the stock pipe and it looks like it flows better. As far as a power increase? I think their should be but I have not put the bike on a dyno.

The pipe is rated at 96...
