Rode by that same rail trail last week near Flesherton. Sign says atvs with permit can use trail.Maybe its like the Hastings rail trail were an atv permit also includes motorcycles?

+1 on the backroads BC mapbook .The KVR & the Columbia Western trail mixed in with some Forest serviice roads (found in backroad mapbook) makes for a really nice ride.
