My bike runs real good but one thing I couldn't get rid of was backfiring on deceleration. What turned out to be causing the backfiring was a worn out muffler gasket. The silver lead colored one....

If you want longevity get a d908RR rally raid. They are tough as nails. For me at least they out last a d606 and maxxis dessert by a long ways. I am fairly easy on the throttle though.

Also bought a BRP triple and a set of protaper evo cr hi bend bars and at 6'3 I can stand on the pegs now with no hunch back. Well worth the money.

I shipped an entire xr650r bottom end to California for $130. Also just shipped a complete exhaust system for $45. All using Canada post. Just take it to Canada post, weigh the thing and ship it.

Ya the weight of it is probably why its for sale. In the ad it states the cost was $2600 to build. Its for sale for $800. May not be suitable for this particular bike, but it looks well made.

I would say there is no other way that shaft could move back and forth other than some stiction where it slides through the rockers. Also i think that shaft runs through the aluminum and rocking back...

Thanks Ya I already ordered the evo cr highs and I think im gonna go with the BRP triple. The specs say 2.50 inches high so ill order some motion pro long cables and hopefully this set up will work...
