progressive rear shocks [twins]: any users

replaced my worn stock shocks with progressives on my 77 RS they where OK. Later bought a pair of ikons [aluminum bodied] more expensive but a better shock.

With the mileage on your beemer I would agree to go over your carbs not too expensive and will give you peace of mind down the road. I bought a 1986 a few years ago and would hit reserve at 120 miles...
