Thanks Gunner. A'shopping I will go. Not too important anyway. I've just been spoiled over the years. The CRF has a manual clutch but it's incredibly light.

Can I take a hydraulic clutch (lever, perch, plunger) assembly from an SXC or SMC and install it on my 2002 LC4E? Or, is there an expensive conversion kit required to make that happen?

Rob - on the KLX it's as simple as removing the base valve from the bottom of the fork. It can be done without disassembly of the entire fork.

The only special tool required is a 14mm hex drive...
