Nope, its welded to the frame. There's all kinds of slop in the pivot though. I'm going to tear it apart tonight and see if I can tighten things up with a bushing or something.

The Heidenau K60 comes in the right sizes for the 640A. Lots of people report good mileage out of those. The Mitas E07 might be a good option as well. I've never ridden them though.
