I like my Exped Downmat. Packs way smaller than a thermarest pad. I do use the thermarest camping pillow. Together I am warm and comfy. Hammocks look like too much bother for my lazy butt to use.

+1. I had a matte gray 70 El Camino and I used Pledge. It is a bit shiny at first but as you rub and it evaporates it simmers down. A tiny bit shinier than flat however.
