I'm also looking at the WR250R. From the test reports I've read it's both a great on-road and off- road bike compared to the other D/S 250's. It easily maintains a steady cruising speed of 65 mph...

Those prices sealed it for me Can't justify paying $9500+ for the G650X Moto with 53 hp when you can get the F800S with 85 hp for $9900 or the ST for $10,800. I'm putting my money down on the 800ST....

My guess is your real close on your price estimate. After all the F800S lists for $9,900 and the ST for $10,800 - - and they are certainly more expensive to build than the G650X's.
