Forks are for sure lowered. Both my bikes forks are even where the cap bottoms out on the fork. Your linkage sure looks oem but maybe clean it up a little and have another look for MBN markings.

Cool, let me know what you find. Thing is I wouldn't expect them after 5 or 6 oil changes though. I drained the oil out of my other 650r and never found one.
