Do you have the Jesse mounts with the exhaust pipe extension?? After I installed my Jesse bags it would do the same thing. I had to fabricate a bracket that extended from the muffler to the stand...

found that the preload was backed off on the Ohlins shock. Tightened it to the max and off about 4 turns, seems to have cured all my problems. Funny how the rear tension can affect the front end so...

Got something going on with the front end, it will oscillate if I push either bar at speed. It is worse at speed, and when it does it, it continues for several oscillations. I cannot remember it...

1200GS 25,000 in 12 months, very reliable, and I haven't babied it. Just learn to work on it and ride it like you stole it. It has more "soul" than any other bike I have had.

I have a Patton and its a great jacket, but I just did a 70 mph slide in a Rev'It Off Track jacket and Dakar pants and walked away from it. I guess it makes me a little partial to rev'it now.

I had on BMW summer gloves, got a bruise under my right thumb but they did not fail at all, and actually had very little visable abrasion on them.
