Um, not sure but if running hot the maybe too lean. If you raise the needle then it will run richer, not leaner. You raise the needle by lowering the clip.

I was going to install the 351 but was warned against it buy a mechanic. He said it was fine but his engine had trouble starting when hot because of thinner walls and heat dissipation. not sure...
