Yep. Smaller CC`s are cheaper to insure. Also we aren`t paying City rates. I`m around $900 for my bike the way I have the insurance setup and driving record discount.

Fork oil

The springs will make a big difference but for me going to a 15w fork oil helped alot also. Changing the fork oil every couple of years is a biggie also. About every 20,000 kms or so.
