I have a 2006 300 xc-w .... i was wondering about this .... is it something worth doing of not really ... i use it as a single track / trail bike ... its plated .... will it help or hurt engine...

OK ... I have a 2006 300XCW ... I have re-geared it to 14 / 49 .... from the 13/ 53 that was on it ..... 55mph on the 13/53 was not going to be very good ..... BUT now I feel 1st gear is almost to...

I am the proud owner of a 1996 KTM 300 EXC .... Who is the go to guy in the U.S.A. for these bikes.... most KTM dealers have little to NO info on them and even fewer people that have worked on one....

Nath, You can you the Gan Canyon exhaust. Either as a start or full system .... 650-750 up to 1989 have the same type of front header pipe but smaller diameter ... but the GC had dual rear exhaust......

What I am looking for is anyone with knowledge of the 45mm Marzocchi Forks for Cagiva GC and 1997ish KTMs.... The forks on a GC are 45mm totally non-agjustables.... and I have a set of 45mm 1997 KTM...

Go to a bike shop that carries Multi Band MX and Enduro bikes .... and cross match it to a similar year differant brand that used that size showa fork... and hope for the same or similar colour......

I didn't think I would like the bike ... but then it grew on me ... to the point that I ended up selling my 916 to get one ... now it sets in the garage with a 944 monster and a 750 elefant being...
