i have an 2009 SMT, converted into a normal SM, and when taking off the front light/cowl/dash to change a bulb, i found this broken wire inside. I think it's a resistor for the blinkers,...

the rectifier/regulator in my 2009 SMT packed up on my holiday (first time in proper hot conditions since a while), killed the battery and some bulbs in the process...first time stranded...
