It's a non-switched circuit so the key doesn't have to be on however I do try to charge while riding. All the functions continue to work while charging.

....and every one seems to have it's own sweet spot. When I did the throttle body bushing re/re and reset the TPS I started at .36v and went up from there.

I settled on .38v which has been good...
