If it wasn't so miserable out...

I'd be bugging you to look at the 250 now! Only ones having fun at my house right now are the Huskies, they don't want to come back inside!

Nice

Brookies are my favorite, I learned to fly fish on brookies and spend most of my time chasing them. Great fun on a 2 weight rod.

I need to visit the Bullpasture sometime.

Nice fish!

I hope to be standing in a river waving a stick this weekend. Most trout guys don't share, but what river is that? Could be one of a couple I know that look similar (Buffalo Creek and Piney).

still icy out there, pick you lines carefully!

Still seeing icy spots on Hampton and Norfolk side streets, and of course the HRBT tunnel entrance/exits!

If I don't make it to the mountains this weekend, Poe's would be fun.

Pretty sure that's Voni and Paul Glaves with the BMW's at the gas pump. Active members of the BMW community and long distance types. Recognize her gear and red R1100RS from when I used to get the MOA...

Is that a shock sock on your fork?

Seems like a better alternative than the more tightly fitting neoprene alternatives - less change of dirt abrasion.

If depending on dealer for maintenance

you should figure out required service and intervals and get some quotes for those standard recurring services. May help with the decision.

General thoughts

after 40 years of riding, 25 spent on BMW's with a Vstrom (50K miles) and FJR (4K miles, getting into too much trouble on my commute) thrown in more recent years.

S10 is a great all around bike...

It's all give and take
