I agree, the BMW zippers on both of my Airflow jackets ( 3 and 4) were flimsy and failed while on cross country trips. I like the jackets a lot and especially the Airflow 4 with it's Coldblack...

According to the dealer the entire wiring harness did have to be replaced due to one bad wire from the D3 plug to the O2 sensor. BMW will not approve replacing single wires in the harness that affect...

It looks like BMWRA has a good overview of the canbus system with diagrams.

From reading that and from what was told to me, there is a wire connection from canbus to a/the O2 sensor that is bad....

So, my 2007 GSA with 24K miles is in the shop for a routine service. I just get a call from the service adviser to tell me the bike has a canbus failure. It can't be repaired per BMW, only replaced....

Topo '08 has a lot of inaccuracies, roads missing that are plainly visible, some with traffic visible on them, routes thru lakes instead of following the actual road, etc. Not sure what is going on...
