Yes - on my 990 it was a connector under the seat to change the map. On the 1190 you need the dongle to do this (in the menus). The ability to keep the ABS/TCS switched off is a bonus for long days...

The lights themselves are good. The mounting system is a real problem. They just screw into plastic and are not fit for the purpose intended. OK for very smooth tarmac only. Very poor design.
