What worked for me is I used high voltage connectors that are made for washers and dryers. 5 bucks for a pack of 20 at a appliance parts shop. They keep their tension under heat and high volts.

They do it for the 690. Just put one on my enduro R. Its nice. They make a standard and a tall version. Not sure about the 950. Had a guts racing, great for dirt and short rides. But foam was soft.

Thats a easy fix. I had the core leak on mine right behind the bracing rod at the top. Cost me $92 to have fixed. You could do it yourself for a quick fix with J-B weld.
