On my '86 (see post #2146) I run a 130/90-17 Kenda Trakmaster II. It fits without issue but I did have to remove the chain guard and fold over the chain guard mount (no loss to me).

A few thousand kms easy, with a lot of pavement. They're cheap, and for being knobbies, I find they handle fairly well on the road as long as you remember that they ARE a mostly off road tire...

As for tires, I always run Kenda Trakmaster II (K760). Really aggressive but street legal and they really don't wear too badly.
