I ride my 09 GS everyday to work and back, about 70 miles total. It is a great bike and I wouldn't take any other bike out there for all of the street riding that I do. Not even an RT.

It will come eventually. I usually let mine out around 1300rpm or so. When I am with the wife I can let it out as low as 1200rpm but it makes a not so nice noise when it is 100 degrees or so.
