I'd run the manual recommendation on pavement and drop a few PSI for extended gravel use. Experiment with off road pressures to find what you're comfortable with.

The sidewall numbers are the maximum pressure recommended by the manufacturer to facilitate the max load rating. Run what the owners manual recommends and adjust from there if you're having issues....
