I believe the ABS is off (light on) when the bike starts and once you are riding it activates (and the light goes off). This is normal -- you don't have to activate it --- it "calibrates" or whatever...

Doesn't the F800 have a bigger radiator -- I assume more HP equals more heat? Will overheating be an issue if the bike is run hard at high rpm? Aren't the power curves pretty identical below 5000 rpm?

Do you mean up and down play -- like the lever doesn't fit quite as precisely in the perch? If so I noticed that when I put in the Touratech clutch lever. Bothers me but seems to work fine.

If you are looking for what used to be called a "standard" motorcycle then the F700GS is best. The F800R is a bit more crouched over -- similar position to the Ducati Monster.
