If the price he quoted you is an OTD price I'd buy it. It's a rock-solid bike and pretty much trouble-free. I had a 500 Ninja; the TU is way more comfortable.

1. At 21k you definitely should replace the spark plug. I recommend replacing it with an iriidium one. It costs more, but it should outlast the TU and some of us...
