i'd say it is warm, but not hot. not an issue for me.
as far as the duc goes, i can't recall the HP for the 696??? the GT1000 is rated at 92HP at the crank. the termi exhaust is good for...

i'd suggest watching craigslist. i bought an 06 with 900 miles with engine guard, tach, TOR silencers, & headlight screen for $5700.
there was a stock 06 in montana with 600 miles that sold...

knobbies and shocks for scrambler?
can anyone recommend a more aggressive tires and shocks for an 06 scrambler tht are more off-road biased than the factory stuff?
picking up the bike this friday and looking forward to the back...
