600 mile service
I took my new 1200GS to Grasss Roots BMW after changing the oil/filter myself. They performed the complete 600 mile service with my total charge being $84.25.

The 08 has a different rake/trail figures.
The stock seat is improved with less slope toward the tank and a bit different foam density.

Ethanol Free Fuel
I have an 09GS with 3,100 miles. I only use premium fuel that is ethanol free. No name stations frequently have it.
