Yeah, rear shocks are Konis, dual plugged with Dyna III. Brakes are fantastic. Much better than my R90S. Maybe that's typical?

Haven't been inside the motor, yet, so I don't know if flywheel...

I just did. Went from my 990A to a DR650 and an R100RS. DR does the dirt, RS does the paved. Kept $2gs in the trade to farkle, rebuild the two bikes. No depreciation feels great.

I ride both asphalt and dirt. Brakes are crap on pavement. Gotta be really careful, plan ahead, and not be on the phone too much :D. On dirt, they're fine.
