I take that back - if I zoom right in I can see roads and text. To zoom out to any sort of useful size loses all detail.

Hmm... I'm using windows and all my map options are ticked or maxed out, but still no detail, even on zoom. Selecting another, unpublished track, looks no different. Grrr.. Basecamp! :ruskie

Maybe I'm just thick, but I find Basecamp infuriatingly non-intuitive.

I've downloaded and installed the OSM map, but cannot work out how to get it to display in Basecamp.

Thanks. Don't think I have XML. I have the original (un-filtered) GPX file on Google Drive - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6la11-WvARRNTVqN1UzZWx3RUE/view?usp=sharing

Is that OK?

OK, so the original GPX file is 90,115 points and 14MB. Getting Basecamp to automatically simplify the track gets it down to 43,883 points, but it's now nearly 21MB!
