Same on the tenere especially when hot. Suzuki put a hydraulic clutch on the 07-08 gsxr1000s and everyone hated it. 09 they reverted back to a cable.

Hydraulic is vague and just not a good overall feel at the lever. Not sure what y'all are doing to clutch cables. I cannot ever remember having one snap....

They started out as nice shiny slicks which typically last longer than the race dots. Same carcass structure just no rain sipes like the dots. Big powerful bike is not easy on a rear tire.
