I would pull the final drive and check the torque on the pinion nut then change the seal.
The pinion nut can loosen and cause an oil leak, then destroy the ring and pinion.

down to fit. If softer than the surrounding metal, locally case harden it. ---Just a thought.

because of excess heat in the ex port caused by the air injection, actually shrinks and slumps down in that area.
