Most of the route will be highway. The plan is not to get home as fast as possible, but we will not have a great deal of time for side trips.

I just ran into this issue this morning and the handguard was the issue. Thanks for the good info and the appropriate fix.

Hey DB-

I have it on good advice that the area west of Big Bend toward Lajitas is also worth checking out. I have not been out there but one of the guys I ride with has, it is one of his favorite spots.

Off Roading.

By rumor, West Texas, around Big Bend and the Davis Mountains is good. I have not been but know plenty that have. Good enough for me to be planning a trip.
