ps: There is no adjustment bolts on the R1200 it uses a stretch belt.

I chose the 1200GS. I had a 02 1150 Adventure. It was heavier, slower and did not handle dirt as well as the 1200GS.
The extra weight of the 1150 will make it harder to ride in dirt, gravel roads....

PC 535 in 12GS

I put a PC535 Odyssey in my 05 R1200GS with no modifications except having to unclip the battery wires to reach the terminals which went toward the front of the bike.

Fit was snug, but no filing,...

I sold my 1150Adv and bought a 1200GS. Its lighter, faster and gets better miles per gallon.
I do kinda miss the large gas tank, but I usually stopped every 250 miles anyway.

The 1200 handles...
