problem I'm chasing down is it won't charge the battery. put a new one in, started it, put a voltmeter on her, and I'm getting 11.74 volts....

it's my understanding that the gs is best for dual sport....everything I've read says yes....I love offroading and want to ride my bike to the next best trail. am I correct?
