Like he said... lubricate metal contact points when you change brake pads

Whenever you change the pads on your car or bike there is usually a package of high temp grease (silicone) that is provided to place onto the carriage and backside of both pads.

I'm very curious too because KTMtwins hasn't returned my calls

I installed the new kit this last weekend into my 06 ADV.
Unfortunately, I forgot to place one of the circlips between the a bearing and the PTFE seal (3 circlips total).
Had everything bolted up...

45 tooth rear with 17 or 16 tooth front are reasonable hwy gearing + better for rough terrain,... hands down.

I thought the Emig setup would raise the bars away from the steering column compared to the stock position. Given the approx 26 deg steering angle I would think...

Crash Bars pro and cons

I have a pair of KTM bars in the tool shed, never used.
I might throw them on at some point...
But there are a few people I've talked to that said the carbon covers are effective for dirt scrapes...

When the shop opened it up the oil was filthy and there was a leak.
I got the upgraded KTM replacement slave kit and the service manager ask me to please replace the oil at intervals to make sure it...

In order of highest to lowest ratio:
17/42 = .405
16/42 = .381
17/45 = .378
16/45 = .356

So .356 = 12% increase in low end ratio wise over stock.
I run the 17/45 combo on DID ZVM2 HD chain...

The slipper clutch is a no brainer to reduce rear wheel hop (engine brake),... which a lot of riders tend...
