Yes, unless parks have shut it recently to protect the trail from damage due to heavy vehicle usage on the trail on the Bilpin side of Burralow Creek that tends to get mashed up pretty bad in places...

That 126 deg C reading was probably more reflective of the heat coming off the header than the base of the cylinder. It would be interesting to know the head temp around the exhaust outlet though?...

+1 for an overnight stay in Taralga. 2 good pubs to stay at and makes a great weekend outing. No fuel in Taralga so you either have to head back to Goulbourn for a drop or into Oberon.

The route indicated is a definite no-go for bikes or cars.
No motorised access pass the glow worm tunnel car park. It's hiking only down to the Wolgan Valley.
