Starting problems suggest the sprag clutch has failed.
BUT misfiring badly may suggest your crank has detached itself from the ignition rotor.
You need to check if you have a woodruff keyed crank....

It DOES have a Woodruff key so it's not the flywheel spinning on the crank. Thanks for the offer
