Nice trails! Looks like the north is riddled with them. In southern Ontario after each short gravel run, we get a paved road. :cry

Yes! Those are good roads, but heading north along 5th line, don't stop at Mono Centre Road (County Road 8 in your pic). Keep going north, and ignore all No Exit signs -- those are for fine...

I recognize that road -- it's only 5 minutes away! But I think you mean 5th Line EHS *Mono*. Caledon has long ended by the time you get there. 5th line gets much better on the north side of Hockley...

Love it

I'm in Canada and have had mine since mid-summer and *love* it. I'm 6'6" with the standard Adv seat and the largest Aeroflow shield. I almost cried tears of joy when I took my first ride with it. I...

Not so

I have a 2009 Adv and had to have the water pump impeller/seal replaced and coolant flushed at my 14,400km service. There were signs of oil in the coolant. Was covered under warranty.

I had one side of the cable adjuster already maxed out prior to this, but the other side still had some adjustment left before I tried to compensate for the G2. I wonder if there's also an adjustment...

G2 Cam Throttle Slop

I installed the KTM version of the G2 throttle cam (the slowest, 400/500 one) yesterday on my 2009 990Adv, and while it worked great at calming the bike down off road (my speeds were up in all the...

I don't think that 6'4" would cut it to get above any turbulence of the KTM touring windshield. I have the stock 990 Adv (non-R) seat and am 6'6" with a 35" inseam and if I scrunch down as far as my...

Trading in my R1150GS

I'm trading the R1150GS that I had for seven years on a new Multistrada. I wasn't sure at first, but after my test ride, I was sold. It felt custom-tailored to my 6'5" frame. All my limbs naturally...

Off Pavement MS vs. R1150GS

I test rode a new Multistrada 1200 and rode it in the Enduro setting for a while on a 2 foot wide gravel shoulder at 50km/h. It seemed about as good at it as my R1150GS (with stock tires) that I rode...
