I ride mine regularly to Nevada. About 600 miles round trip Cruising 75-80 on the freeway. Great mileage, reliability. Have wolfman soft luggage. Get it, you won't be disappointed.

Been there for it once. Its true Virginia City gets crowded with Bikes (95% Harleys). It is a little wild but probably a far cry from Mardi Gras style. Fun to go once, but would not go again. IMHO

That being said, I have 15000 miles on mine with the only issue being a slight oil leak on the valve cover gasket. No issue at all really.
