Sounds to me a classic case of the no maintenance philosophy applied to this bike, i.e. lack of oil changes, running low on oil, thrashing a cold motor etc. :huh

I threw in solenoid as my 1150's solenoid was replaced after three starter clean and lubes in three months failed to fix the failure to spin. Didn't know the 1200 has no starter relay, the 1150 does....
