So I called Twisted Throttle today and they said that the heat shield is still in the works and we should expect it between 90 days and 6 months, maybe less. Apparently it would have been here sooner...

Looks like it would work, thanks. I'm gonna call tomorrow and see what the lead time is. If it's gonna be a while I'll just make a trip to the local metal shop and ghetto fab one. I can't sacrifice...
