The GL 1800

Is a great ride but as mentioned above too tupperware for me, I had a 83 GL1100i and it was a perfect fit. Working on the 1100 was simple until clutch and alternator repairs come along. I think the...

Indian Motorcycles

Anyone keeping up with the news? I think the engine looks great managed to mimic a side valve pretty well for a OHV engine. Sound clip is interesting as well, % of USA content should be high. Hoping...

What Brent said

Funny as all get out. I own a 07 DL 650 with almost the same distance and I can mirror every word he says, including the Tourance use over other tires. About 24000 miles on this set with a little to...

well

35psi front 40 psi back and dupont teflon multilube every 250 miles. I'll get 60 mpg if I stay about 60-65 mph loaded, drops off quickly after 80 mph. With my third windcreen I can cruise well at...

Metzeler Tourance are my 3rd set of tires after stock trail wings and battle wings and they great, about 19,000 miles on these and likely 3,000 or so left.

Still on the stock chain unit and still...

Most do

Few motorcycles have been dialed in for air flow, lucky for everyone such a large aftermarket exists to do just that.

Impressed, I have owned, rented, begged, and borrowed pver 150 motorcycles and this one is impessive. For a touring/cruiser it's just great.

To pull or not to pull?

1/4" wide staple (length???) center of rear tread 50% tire wear, no air loss. I'm tempted to pull it out but the length could make that a pandora's box. Ignore it and watch it slowly work in deeper...

Is it worth taking in? Is the backside road decent enough for a V-Strom? Are there other roads in the surrounding area that add to the experience?

Anyone installed yet? I have noticed it seems the 20213 differs slightly from the 20212. Any feed back would be great.

any motorcycle purchase is tempting

I would like to ask another question, since the dealer can't find out. Will a crossbones seat fit on a fat boy low. I know it aint no springer but I like to have all the options sorted out.

Owners are nuts about them, true cult classic. When new it had just too many odd changes, ahead of its time perhaps. At least you'll be in a group of like minded riders. Congrats and safe riding.
