Goop makes a product that says "Bonds whatever..forever" Home Depot and others in paint department. I've used it for many things. I bet it would do well for you, just allow time to cure.

You can get tires

You can get tires in Santiago de Chile and in Buenos Aires. Just tire-up in Costa Rica or Panama and then again before you head south of the other two. Take what you can get and have fun.

Same setup, same problem. Just block up the engine, I use Hydraulic bottle jack, then remove the bottom shock bolt and pull the shock forward. Just like you thought. Still not easy to put the cover...
