I use a Quick Stand and it's fine for doing chain maintenance away from home. Wouldn't want to change a tire on the road though. It would be a pita given the torque required on some of the fasteners....

It's certainly an issue. :D But after almost 3 years I've yet to collect any new tickets with mine so it's not imposable to stay out of trouble. And every time I ride it I still get the giggles.
