Leak down test

+ 1 on a leak down test. The pic looks like it could be from ethanol fuel or dust. Leak would tell if its able to hold compression or it crap.

Oil change

Over due oil change,clutch was starting to drag a little.Went from Red Line 20/50 to Motul 10/40 will see how I like the Motul.

Bike rack and KLR top box

caliper

Try taking the caliper off the bracket. Install wheel then put the caliper back on.Thats the way I have had to do it on some street bikes Ive owned.

I think he is talking about the big wrench (top left) how it has 6 point and 12 point. Basically its a 6 point box wrench and a real shallow 12 point socket.

SA inserts

They just bolt on. There is a small allen bolt that goes on the bottom of the inside of the insert to hold them on to the muffler. If this does not make sense I can take a pic to show you.

Mine are still stuck on,couple wet winters,multiple low side's, dragging the bike on its side using them as skid plates. I used Dow Corning structural chalking to glue them on.

Bullet connector

Out of my electric connectors, the male end. Just dremel the crimp end off and used what was left, slipped right over the little rubber tit of the button.
