I rode the Dalton, Dempster and Denali Highways same time as you, only in the opposite direction. We surely passed each other at some point along the way. Your pics. and RR are simply outstanding!

I did the trip in June '09. Went to Deadhorse and Inuvik, and I was glad to have my heated jacket. There were a few times when it was on full blast.

I live in Sacramento, which in itself is nothing to be excited about. The upside to Sac, tho, is its strategic location. Almost any riding experience you could imagine is only 2-3 hours ride away....

All the various tools required to do a simple oil change is definitely a PITA, so I keep them in their own zip lock bag labeled "oil." That way, I don't have to go diigging for them each time.
