The fact that turning the petcock to prime cures...

The fact that turning the petcock to prime cures the problem would lead me to believe it's an issue with the petcock. They are vacume controlled and have been known to fail.

I'm 6' 4", the comfort seat was worse for me than the stock seat, after only 30 minutes I wanted off.. It made me sit too far forward and it was too soft, I sent it back.

Tried the BMW comfort seat, did not work for me at all. At 6' 4" I sat too far forward and was locked in place due to the step. Also the seat was too soft and left me sore after less than an hour.
